Issue 11

Scene 1

Three Mile Island where Gabe and Mags fight Cain and his clones.

Cain has created hundreds of clones of himself.

Gabe starts to punch and knock down the clones. They are flying through the air and are being knocked down.

Mags teleports while fighting the clones. She makes multiple portals and her punches and kicks appear through them striking the clones.

She creates one big portal under a group of clones. We then see another portal open up in the sky and those clones falling to the ground.

Mags is also trained in combat and holds her own against the countless clones of Cain.

They are both eventually subdued by all of the clones.

Cain
“There are too many clones for you to fight.”

Mags
“ I thought you loved me? I thought you loved Sarah?”

Cain
“You may find this hard to believe, but I do love both of you.

Mags
“Then why did you betray us?”

Cain
“Because we can’t win against them. So, I went for the better option.”

Mags
“You can’t trust him. He’s a monster”

Cain
“That’s ironic. You’re the one that brought the real monsters.”

Mags
“They are my true friends. They won’t betray me like you did. They are fighting for me and my daughter. For the entire planet.”

Cain
“The Seven have to leave the planet or everyone is dead. Your daughter will die anyway.”

Mags
“There has to be another way.”

Cain
“There isn’t and we can’t afford to risk it. I will kill Gabriel and then find your daughter. Then they will all leave.”

Gabe
“I don’t understand any of this.”

Mags
“Shut up.”

Cain
“Let him talk.  He has a right to know.”

Gabe
“Know what?”

Cain
“The truth.”


Scene 2

The past, Marseille France.

Mags
“Why are you doing this?”

Cain
“It’s the only way.”

Mags
“I thought you loved us?”

Cain
“I do, but if they get Sarah they will spare us all. One life for the entire world.  It’s not like they will kill her. She is one of them.”

Mags
“No, she’s my daughter.”

Dismas and Gestas bring Sarah into the room.

Mags
“Leave her alone.”

Sarah
“Momma, what is happening?”

Mags
“It’s alright baby.”

Cain
“Sarah I’m sorry, but you have to leave this place.”

Sarah
“Why. What did I do wrong?”

Mags
“Nothing dear. These men…”

Cain
“That is enough. She will be given to Joshua and that will be that.”

Mags
“Sarah, do you remember the one thing I told you that you couldn’t do?”

Sarah
“Yes mother.”

Mags
“Do it now!”

Mags teleports away.

Sarah begins to glow and a pulse of energy blinds the men and then knocks them through the air and into the walls of the room.

Mags teleports back, grabs Sarah and teleports away again.

The Naga are all laying unconscious on the ground. We see Joshua and Michael standing above them.

Joshua
“So am I to assume that you no longer have the girl.”

Cain
“That witch. She’s taken her.”

Joshua
“Well it is only a matter of time until we find her.  However, you have failed me Cain. That is not acceptable.”

Cain
“I’m sorry. I can get her back. I swear. Just give me one more chance. I promise I’ll get her.”

Joshua
“One more chance. Fail me again and you sacrifice your life.”

Cain, Dismas, and Gestas stand there in silence.


Scene 3

Gabe
“Like I’ll believe anything you have to say.”

Cain
“I have always hated you.”

Gabe
“I never did anything to you.”

Cain
“You really don’t remember anything? I thought it was all an act.”

Gabe
“Remember what?”

Cain
“You said Natas told you the story of the Seven.”

Gabe
“Yeah, but it can’t be true.”

Cain
“Oh, but it is.”

Gabe
“But what does it have to do with me and Katrina?”

Cain
“I know nothing about your mate, but you have everything to do with this.”

Gabe
“How?”

Cain
“You really can’t put it together, can you?”

Gabe
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”


Cain
“You really are a different person. Well, different or not you are part of this story.”

Gabe
“I’m not part of anything.”

Cain walks over and stands in front of Gabe. Cain takes his hand and lifts Gabe’s face up by his chin.

Cain
“Well, there’s only one way to say this and you might not like it, but you are one of the Seven.”

Gabe
“Fuck you. I’m not one of them.”

Cain
“But you are.”

Gabe
“I’m not an alien. I’m human, I have a mother.”

Cain
“True, but you are one of them. I’ll fill you in on the parts that Natas left out.

They once were Seven, but after they arrived on Earth they killed one of their own.

Azazel was the one that they killed.
The six who remained were divided and they all went their separate ways.
The one called Metatron would oversee the America’s. Raphael would go to Asia.
Natas, who wanted no part of the destruction of our planet, refused to be part of the energy collecting process and would wander the Earth in hopes of changing his brother’s minds.

Joshua and Michael would work in tandem in the Middle East and Europe.  
And guess who we have left?”

Gabe
“No way.”

Cain
“That leaves only you, Gabriel. You would experiment in Africa and even when humanity migrated into other parts of the world, you would assist Joshua and Michael.

Gabriel the Angel. Gabriel the Destroyer. You were the cruelest of them all.
You, like Joshua and Michael, would manipulate and destroy countless lives in the old world.

You three would leave the Americas and Asia alone. So as not to anger Metatron and Raphael. 

Every isolated region would be involved in civil strife. Every continent overflowed with war, disease, and famine.

Europeans would eventually travel to the Americas and Asia. They would initiate countless wars. You would explain to Metatron and Raphael that you could no longer control your experiments.

Humanity had run amok. They couldn’t be contained anymore. 

Humanity’s hatred helped fuel the fire that the Seven started ages ago.
We are a disease that sickened this planet beyond even the Seven’s expectations.”

Gabe
“You’re a liar.”

Cain
“I do lie, but everything I have said is the truth.”

Gabe
“That’s not me.”

Cain
“Oh, but it is. I have been cursed to walk this planet and to witness it all.
I was one of your first test subjects. Humans have been genetically manipulated from what you helped create.  To live. To love. To fight. To kill. We never had a chance.”

Gabe
“It’s not me. It can’t be.”

Gabe just seems to give up and slouches in the arms of the clones.

Cain
“Deep down you know it’s true. I can see it in your demeanor. You’re thinking that’s why you didn’t die. That’s why you’re no longer just an ordinary man.
That’s why you’re important to everyone right now.”

Gabe
“No. No. It can’t be. I have a mother.”

Cain
“I had a mother too.  A sweet loving woman, but in the end she was just a test subject. Like a lab rat to be disposed of after the science is done. Then you helped create the Bible. Filled it with falsehoods. My mother didn’t sin. She didn’t betray my father. They loved each other until they both died of natural causes.

The only sin was mine. I let these so-called Gods sow hate and jealousy into my very being. I killed my brother and for nothing. I thought it was for love and acceptance of my masters, but it was just another experiment to see how much energy you could collect from our dying bodies.”

Gabe
“It wasn’t me.”

Cain
“It was you. Joshua was the scientist and Michael helped him, but you…you were the overseer of the lab animals. You took care of us. You punished us. You were the monster.”

Gabe
“It can’t be.”


Scene 4

Phil
“Alright. Rahab it’s time to show us why you’re here.”

Rahab
“I know my job. We all have to hold hands while I cloak us. I have to be in constant contact with someone I cloak or we have to all be in contact with the same object.”

Rahab holds out her hands. Twisted grabs one and Nimrod the other. Twisted extends her empty hand towards Phil.

Phil
“If anyone starts singing Kumbaya I’m kicking their ass.”

Phil grabs Twisted’s hand and they all disappear.

Scene 5

Joshua, Michael, and Natas continue to talk.

Joshua
“I’m not sure that Cain can kill Gabriel now.”

Natas
“Why is that?”

Joshua
“When they gave Gabriel CPR the resurrection was interrupted. Judas wasn’t able to take his life earlier.”

Natas
“And what does that mean?”

Joshua
“It means that Gabriel is no longer human but also not fully one of us. His body is in a state of flux. Michael and I could destroy him and attempt to redo the process, but that would mean that we might have to wait hundreds of more years for his energy to reform. Plus we would need to find a suitable human female again.

Natas
“Yes you could do that, but I won’t allow it.”

Michael
“How would you stop us? There are two of us and only one of you. Gabriel isn’t even at full power.”

Natas
“You were always the slow witted one Michael. Its to be expected since you are the youngest of us. You forget that I hold the girl and she will be dead before you find her. Then you will be waiting for the two of them to reform.”

Michael
“I’m the youngest by less than a thousandth of a second.”

Joshua
“Enough, this would all be irrelevant if Azazel’s energy had reformed after his death.”

Natas
“Ahh, but it didn’t and that mystery has never been solved.”

Joshua
“So what is it that you want?”

Natas
“Nothing. Just let this scenario play out.”

Joshua
“I won’t give up looking for the girl.”

Natas
“I wouldn’t expect anything less.”

Joshua
“Well, there is no point to continue with this battle and it looks like your soldiers are victorious. Shall we proceed to the battlefield?”
Natas
“After you?”

Scene 6

Rahab, Nimrod, Twisted, and Phil are hiding behind a building close to where Cain, Mags, and Gabe are.

They are all cloaked.

Scene 7

Joshua, Michael, and Natas appear next to Cain and in front of Gabe and Mags. Wolfgang, Bruno, and Craze walk up behind Gabe and Mags. Adam’s head is flying around in the distance.

Joshua
“Cain, we are finished for now.”

Cain
“Finished? I’m about to kill him.”

Joshua
“Nothing you can do will kill him. We are at a stalemate. Release him now.”

Cain
“So my men were defeated and killed for nothing?”

Joshua
“Watch your tone with me and remember our deal. This isn’t over. We’re just done for today.”

The clones of Cain disappear.

Mags
“You will never find our daughter.”

Joshua
“I’m not the man whose seed you took. That man died two thousand years ago.”

Mags
“I guess he did.”

Cain
“Just let me collect my men.”

Joshua
“Leave them and come with us now.”

Cain
“They are my friends.”

Joshua
“Either leave with us now or accept your fate with them.”

Cain
“I’ll go with them. I failed you again. I’m dead if I go with you.”

Joshua
“So be it then.”

Natas
“Until next time brother.”

Joshua
“Until the next time.”

Joshua and Michael turn into a ball of energy and fly off.

Natas
“Mags, if you would be so kind as to teleport everyone except for Gabe and myself to Tartarus. I would appreciate it. We have some talking to do first. In private.”

Mags teleports everyone including the bodies of Amalgam and Pilot to Tartarus.

Rahab, Nimrod, Twisted and Phil slowly make their way towards Natas and Gabriel.

Gabe
“Is it true?”

Natas
“Yes, I’m afraid so.”

Gabe
“You lied to me.”

Natas
“I never lied. I just left out some important facts.”

Gabe
“You never tell the complete story. Always bits and pieces.”

Natas
“You weren’t ready for the truth.”

Gabe
“And I am now?”

Natas
“Maybe, maybe not. However you need to decide on who you are now and who you want to be.  Are you the good, kind hearted man that your human mother raised you to be…or are you the callous alien?”

Gabriel
“Was I really as evil as Cain said?”

Natas
“Honestly?”

Gabe
“Yeah.”

Natas
“You were worse.”

Gabe
“So what was Joshua hoping to accomplish?”

Natas
“If you die then you will be resurrected and they are hoping that you will be the Gabriel that you used to be. One of the Seven. Aligned with Joshua and Michael.”

Gabe
“How did I die?”

Natas
“That’s a story for another time.”

Silence and then Mags is back.

Mags
“Is everything okay?”

Natas
“Yes my dear, will you be so kind as to teleport Gabe and I back to Tartarus now?”

Gabe
“So you’re calling me Gabe?”

Natas
“Yes, Gabriel is who you used to be. Gabe is the man I see before me now.”

Gabe just smiles.

Gabe
“We have to win.”

Natas
“If we don’t then all of humanity is doomed.”

Natas looks up towards the sky and we see two crows flying over them.

Natas smiles.

Mags creates a teleport disk.

Rahab, Nimrod, Phil, and Twisted are still cloaked and run into it before Mags, Natas, and Gabe enter the portal.

They teleport away.
