Issue 10
Scene 1
The outskirts of Three Mile Island. A higher elevation where they can view the battlefield.
Abel is standing next to Joshua and Michael.
Joshua
“Why can we not rid ourselves of this revenant?”
Michael
“He claims to be a witness of some kind.”
Joshua fires a beam of energy at Abel. Nothing happens.
Abel
“You created me. Don’t you remember who I am?”
Joshua
“No. Do you know how many of your kind I have created over the years?”
Abel
“So, we are nothing to you?”
Joshua
“Less than nothing. You and your kind are like the dirt beneath my feet.”
Abel
“And what does that make you?”
Joshua
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
Is that what you want to hear?”
Abel
“I was there when John wrote the Book of Revelation. It was one of the few things that you and your kind had no part in.”
Joshua
“Those words are nothing but nonsense. The babblings of a former disciple of the man known as Jesus.”
Abel
“But you are Jesus.”
Joshua
“No. Jesus was made of flesh and blood. This form contains the building blocks of the universe itself. I am a God.”
Abel
“No. You only play God and not for much longer.”
Joshua
“Is that so?”
Abel
“We are at the beginning of the end times.”
Joshua
“Yes we are, and like always my brothers and I will be the only ones left alive.”
Natas walks up.
Natas
“Come to witness your machinations?”
Joshua
“Indeed.”
Michael
“What would stop us from killing you right now?”
Natas
“The girl. If I don’t make it back, she dies. Simple as that.”
Joshua
“Does Mary know that you would kill her daughter? Or is it Mags?
I’m not sure what to call her these days.”
Natas
“She’s also your daughter. The first of her kind.”
Joshua
“She’s no offspring of mine. She is simply a means to an end.”
Natas
“Either way, any aggression towards me or my soldiers, and the girl dies.”
Joshua
“Soldiers? As if you’re a General in some type of military structure. You just delay the inevitable.”
Natas
“What’s inevitable is that when we leave this planet it will be without you.”
Joshua
“It will never happen. We don’t even know if the girl has the capacity to store enough energy to even combine with us.”
Natas
“Well, time will tell, and time is the one commodity that we have an abundance of.”
Joshua
“Yes, but the conclusion may not be to your liking.”
Natas
“We shall see.”
Joshua
“Yes we shall.”
Scene 2
Twisted and Phil pull up in the junker car.
Rahab and Nimrod are standing outside of the jet.
Rahab
“They finally showed up. I hate working with them. That bitch is crazy.”
Phil and Twisted exit the car.
Twisted
“Sup girl.”
Rahab
“Hey! What’s up girl?”
Rahab walks over and hugs Twisted.
Rahab
“It’s so good to see you. What have you been up to?”
Twisted
“You know…a little of this… a little of that.”
Nimrod looks at them both and shakes his head.
Phil
“Come on, we have to get into position.”
They all four start walking behind the buildings. We see different scenes of everyone fighting as the sneak around.
Phil
“This is a good spot. We have to stay close to that woman.”
Phil points at Mags.
Phil
“Rahab, be ready. I will tell you when.”
Rahab
“You’re not my boss.”
Rahab looks at Nimrod and laughs.
Phil
“Nimrod.”
Nimrod smacks Rahab across the face. Rahab looks surprised. Twisted laughs.
Twisted
“Stupid bitch.”
Phil
“I’m in charge.”
Phil pulls a bottle of alcohol out of his backpack and starts to drink it.
Rahab
“Do you have to drink right now?”
Twisted
“It’s how his powers work. Not that it’s any of your business.”
Phil
“Look, I don’t want to be in charge, but I’m all we’ve got. You are too inexperienced. Nimrod doesn’t talk, and my sister is fucking crazy.”
Twisted
“I’m not crazy.”
They all look at each other.
Twisted
“Well maybe just a little.”
Twisted starts laughing and then crying.
Rahab
“What the fuck is that?”
Rahab says, pointing at Joshua, Michael, and Natas in the distance. We see Natas in his Devil form.
Phil
“Oh. That’s just the Devil.”
Rahab
“What the fuck? The Devil? He’s real?”
Phil
“He’s actually not a bad guy.”
Rahab
“How do you know?”
Twisted
“Because we met him before. DUH.”
Rahab
“When did you meet the Devil?”
Phil
“About…1941 I think?”
Twisted
“Yeah sounds about right.”
Rahab
“Stop lying. You ain’t that old.”
Phil
“Whatever. Do I have to tell Nimrod to smack you again?”
Twisted puts a knife to Rahab’s throat.
Twisted
“Bitch, we ain’t lying.”
Rahab
“Woah, woah, woah! Settle down. Alexander will kill you if you do anything to me.”
Twisted
“It wouldn’t be the first time he killed me.”
Twisted just smiles and then turns around.
Scene 3
Judas and Wolfgang fight. Judas is making metal stars and knives and throwing them at Wolfgang. Wolfgang flips backwards and somersaults around avoiding them.
Judas
“Not bad, dog.”
Wolfgang
“I told you. I’ve learned some new tricks since we first met.“
Scene 4
Paris, France
Judas is standing by himself in a fighting pit. The pit is made of wood and has lit torches around it. Natas and Wolfgang walk up.
Judas
“Cain said I should be expecting you.”
Natas
“Yes and I brought the lad with me.”
Judas
“And what are you?”
Judas says to Wolfgang.
Natas
“Judas, this is Wolfgang.”
Judas
“Cain said nothing about teaching a dog how to fight.”
Wolfgang remains silent, but gives Judas an evil stare.
Natas
“He is feral, but not a dog. More lupine than canine.”
Judas
“And I am to teach this pet of yours to fight? I can’t believe that Cain trusts you.”
Natas
“Cain made a bargain to join forces so both of our groups have a better chance against the others. Trust has nothing to do with it.”
Judas
“I will do my part, but I will not show your dog any mercy.”
Wolfgang
“I’m not a dog.”
Judas
“So it speaks. Does it sit and roll over as well?”
Right then Wolfgang growls and roars in anger. He jumps through the air and tries to swing at Judas. Judas steps to the side and knees Wolfgang in the stomach. Wolfgang falls to the ground gasping for air.
Judas
“You’ve got courage, dog. I will give you that. I will train you, but at the first sign of weakness, I will kill you.”
Natas
“Do not overstep your mission Judas. If he is dead, then you will follow him.”
Judas
“And how long will this training last?”
Natas
“Until he can beat you.”
Judas
“That will never happen.”
Natas
“In that case then, until your first draw.”
Judas
“I agree.”
Natas
“Wolfgang, Judas will be your instructor. Listen to him, but never surrender. Turn that hatred inward and focus on besting him. He is the deadliest assassin alive today. You will have no greater teacher.”
Wolfgang
“I understand.”
Natas walks away while Wolfgang picks himself up off of the ground.
Wolfgang turns to Judas.
Wolfgang
“Do your worst. I’m not scared of you.”
Judas
“You don’t have to be scared for me to hurt you. It will happen either way.”
Scene 4
Wolfgang and Judas trade punches and kicks with neither one landing a blow or getting the better of the other.
Judas
“You have improved.”
Wolfgang
“Like I need you to tell me.”
Judas
“Always the upstart. You know we aren’t so different.”
Wolfgang
“I’m nothing like you.”
Judas
“You keep telling yourself that.”
Wolfgang
“We’re nothing alike.”
Judas
“Everyday you feel as if no one cares about you and you are right.”
Wolfgang
“You’re wrong, I’ve got friends now. I have purpose.”
Judas
“You’re on the wrong side. It’s not too late to join us.”
Wolfgang
“Is this the part where you tell me you’re my father and I scream?”
Judas
“What are you talking about?”
Wolfgang
“Forget it.”
Judas
“Join us.”
Wolfgang
“No.”
Judas
“You’re still the same after all these years.”
Wolfgang
“No. I’ve changed. I used to be blinded with hatred. I hated my family. I hated the villagers who burned me alive. I hated you for being so hard on me.”
Judas
“It was the only way to teach you.”
Wolfgang
“Was it? I guess we will never know. When Natas made me into this creature, all I craved was revenge. It filled my every thought. It consumed my every desire. I hated everyone. I hated you… most of all.”
Judas
“And you’re different now?”
Wolfgang
“I think so. I found friendship. I found love.”
Judas
“They make you weak.”
Wolfgang
“Yeah I thought so at first, but over the years I’ve changed my mind on that.”
Judas
“So you’re a good person now? Don’t be ridiculous. You are a killer. You are a monster. I know this because I made you.”
Wolfgang
“Yeah, you did. But I’m not that guy anymore.”
Judas
“Liar. You’re still the same. You want nothing more than to kill me. You need to kill like every human needs air. It’s part of your nature.”
Wolfgang
“You’re wrong and I’ll prove it.”
Wolfgang looks up at Bruno. He knows that his friend is struggling against Pilot.
Wolfgang
“Bruno. Plan B.”
Bruno flies towards Wolfgang and Pilot pursues him.
Wolfgang
“You’re wrong about me. I don’t have to be the one that stops you. You just have to be stopped.”
Bruno shoots fire at Judas. Judas makes a partial cover out of his metal.
Bruno passes over Wolfgang and so does Pilot.
Wolfgang leaps into the air. His claws extended and he slices open Pilot’s body.
Pilot screams in pain and tries to keep his intestines inside of his body. Blood pours from his body. He blacks out and crashes to the Earth.
Wolfgang
“Light him up Bruno.”
Bruno stops in mid-air hovering above Judas. Bruno releases a continuous wave of fire in the direction of Judas.
Judas begins to cover his body with a shell of the metal he produces.
The metal covers the body of Judas as he stands there. Only an opening remains around Judas’s face and he’s looking at Wolfgang.
Wolfgang
“I’m not like you. I have friends. I have people that love me.
I used to be jealous of you and your strength, but now… I just pity you.”
Bruno’s fire intensifies and Judas has now covered his entire body with his metal.
Wolfgang
“Finish him.”
Bruno’s fire engulfs Judas and is so bright that Wolfgang is blinded.
We see Judas’s metal figure melted and deformed from Bruno and his fire.
