Issue 3

Scene 1

The Devil and Michael continue to battle.

Blood Rain
The Devil makes it so it starts to rain blood that falls and burns everywhere it lands.

You can see the rain land on Michael. The rain drops dissolve and smoke from contact.

Michael flies backwards to avoid the rain.

Blazing sword
Michael attacks with a huge energy shaped like a sword extending from his sword.

Demon Block
The Devil blocks the sword with a conjured demon. The demon then attacks Michael.


Blinding light
Michael destroys the demon with a blinding light energy wave.

Scene 2

Mags and Gabe suddenly appear outside of Gabe’s apartment. Gabe runs up to find that the door has been busted open and once he enters he sees that the place has been ransacked. Mags walks in behind him.

Gabe
“Katrina! Katrina!”

Mags
“They must have come here looking for you.”

Gabe continues to look around the house shouting for Katrina.

Mags
“No one is here.”

Mags
“They must have taken her.”

Mags says as she hands Gabe the note. The note says, “Gabe, you’re still in trouble.”

Mags
“Is it a ransom note?”

Gabe
“This is nothing. She’s just mad at me.”

Mags
“A love note?”

Gabe
“Yeah, something like that.”

Mags
“If this is your idea of love, then maybe we should stop looking for her.”

Gabe
“Whatever. She might be at my Mom’s house? Can you do that thing and take us there?”

Mags
“Yes. I can do my thing as you call it.”
Gabe
“She lives at…”

Mags
“I don’t need an address.”

Gabe
“You don’t? Then how are we getting there?”

Mags
“We have been watching over you for a long time.”

Gabe
“Natas never told me that you were watching me.”

Mags
“You will find there is much that Natas will not tell you.”

Gabe looks confused as Mags opens up another portal. They both step in and exit out in front of Gabe’s moms house. Gabe runs up to the porch and opens the front door.

Gabe
“Mom, are you there?”
Gabe’s Mom
“Where else would I be?”

Says an elderly white woman as she enters the living room.

Gabe
“Mom, you’re safe.”

Gabe’s Mom
“Why wouldn’t I be safe? Boy, What is wrong with you?”

Gabe
“Tell me Katrina is here.”

Gabe’s Mom
“Why would she be here? What’s going on?”

Gabe
“I was just hoping she was here with you.”

Gabe’s Mom
“No. She isn’t here. Now settle down and tell me what’s going on.”

Mags
“We don’t have time for this.”

Gabe
“Mom, I gotta ask you.  Who was my father?”

Gabe’s Mom
“I told you. He didn’t stick around. That’s all. “

Gabe
“There’s more to it than that.”

Gabe’s Mom.
“Can’t you just leave it alone?”

Gabe
“No,  I need to know.”

Gabe’s Mom sits down in a chair and puts her head down.

Gabe’s Mom
“You’re not going to believe me.”

Gabe
“After everything I’ve been through lately. I can believe almost anything.”

Gabe’s Mom
“You don’t have a father.”

Gabe
“Stop playing with me.”

Gabe’s Mom
“I swear, as God is my witness, I’m telling you the truth. I can’t explain it. I never laid with a man and then one day I was just pregnant.”

Gabe
“Mom. There’s no way.”

Mags
“She’s telling the truth.”

Gabe
“No one asked you.”


Gabe’s Mom
“Gabriel, I swear. I’m sorry, but I’m telling the truth.”

Gabe
“So no sex? No other person? One day, you’re just pregnant?”

Gabe’s Mom
“Yes.”

Gabe’s Mom starts to cry.

Gabe
“I don’t understand.”

Gabe hugs his mom.
Mags walks over to Gabe’s Mom and places her hand on her shoulder.

Mags
“Right now I need you to listen to me. We have to get you out of here. Our lives are in danger.”

Gabe’s Mom
“I’m not going anywhere. What danger could I be in?”

Gabe
“Mom, please listen.”

Gabe’s Mom
“I plan on dying in this house and nothing is going to make me leave.”

Mags
“You will die in this house today. If we don’t leave now.”

Gabe’s Mom
“I told you I’m not going anywhere.”

Gabe
“Mom, come on. Stop being so stubborn.”

Mags
“It’s okay. I don’t need her permission.”

Mags then creates a disc under most of the living room and transports Gabe’s mom and most of the furniture with her.
They are now all in a room in Tartarus.

Gabe’s Mom
“Dear Lord, where are we?”

Gabe
“You could have warned me.”

Mags
“Where’s the fun in that?”

Gabe’s Mom
“What in Jesus’ name is happening.”

Gabe
“Mom. I can’t explain it right now. To be honest I don’t even know what’s going on, but you have to trust me. I need you to stay here.”

Gabe’s Mom
“No way. I don’t understand any of this. Lord God, this isn’t possible.”

Gabe
“Mom, you said you got pregnant without having sex. Anything is possible.”


Gabe’s Mom
“Don’t you get smart with me. You’re upsetting me.”

Just then Advocate then walks into the room.

Gabe
“Mom, relax.”

Gabe’s mom
“I am relaxed. For some reason I feel a lot better.”

Advocate
“Madam. I’ve brought you something to drink. My name is Advocate and I will be here for all of your needs.”

Gabe
“Mom, I have to go. I’ve got to find Katrina.”

Gabe’s Mom
“Okay son. You go find her. We have a wedding to plan.”

Gabe
“Yeah about that.”
Gabe’s Mom
“Don’t tell me you’re not getting married now.”

Gabe
“Well. Listen. I love Katrina, but when I called it wasn’t about us getting married.”

Gabe’s Mom
“Then what was it about?”

Gabe
“Well before today I was scared to tell you, but after all this, what the hell?”

Gabe’s Mom
“Gabriel watch your mouth.”

Gabe
“Yes, ma’am.”

Gabe’s Mom
“Well spit it out mister.”


Gabe
“Katrina’s pregnant.”

Gabe’s mom
“I’m going to be a Grandma?”

Gabe
“I know you’re mad because we aren’t married, but…”

Gabe’s Mom
“I’m not mad, son. I love you and Katrina. If you’re happy then I am too.”

Gabe
“We are happy and that’s why I have to find her.”

Gabe’s Mom.
“Well get out of here and go find her and my grand baby.  And son…”

Gabe
“Yeah mom?”

Gabe’s Mom
“Be careful.”
Gabe
“I will be. Mags, can you take me to one more place?”

Mags
“Yes. You want me to do my thing?.“

Gabe
“Very funny. She could only be at one more place and that is at my partner’s house.”

Mags
“I thought she was your partner?”

Gabe
“Well she is, but Rocco’s my partner on the police force. Can you get me there?”

Mags grabs Gabe’s arm.

Mags
“I want you to close your eyes and picture where you want to go.”

Mags and Gabe both close their eyes and a teleport disc appears; they both walk through it.
They exit the disc and appear in front of Rocco’s house.

Scene 3

Gabe
“How did you do that?”

Mags
“I don’t have to know where I’m going to teleport. As long as I have physical contact with someone else and they have been there before. Once we do this I also become bonded with that person. Like the other members of our group I will be able to locate you anywhere on the planet.”

Gabe
“Now, that is cool.”

Gabe and Mags walk up to the house and knock on the door. Rocco’s wife answers.

Rocco’s Wife
“Oh Gabe.”

Rocco’s Wife hugs Gabe.

Gabe
“Is Katrina here?”

Rocco’s Wife
“No, I haven’t seen her. Have you seen Frank? He never came home from the hospital. I’m so worried. They said you disappeared and then Frank went missing. And then I saw that video.”

Gabe
“I don’t know where Frank is, but don’t worry I’m sure he is okay.”

Rocco’s Wife
“Oh, Gabe. He’s never not come home in 20 years. He’s not alright.”

She says hysterically.

Mags
“We’re not alone. We have to go.”

Gabe
“I’m sorry I gotta go. If Frank or Katrina show up, tell them to stay here. I’ll be back when I can.”

Gabe and Mags turn around to see a tall man standing in front of them.
Cain
“It’s been a while.”

Mags
“I don’t want to talk to you.”

Cain
“That’s okay, but I bet he does.”

Gabe
“I don’t even know you.”

Cain
“I’m the one who has your girlfriend and your friend.  So, if you want to see them alive again then we better talk.”

Gabe
“You bastard.”

Cain
“Yeah. I’ve heard that before.”


Gabe
“Where are they?”

Cain
“Well, let’s go somewhere and talk. I have a car right over there. Just you and I will go for a ride.”

Mags
“It’s a trap. We aren’t going anywhere.”

Cain
“Oh baby. I didn’t invite you. “

Mags
“Don’t call me that.”
Cain
“But, you used to love it when I called you baby.”

Mags
“Well not anymore and he’s not going anywhere.”

Gabe
“Okay. I’ll go with you.”
Mags
“I just said you aren’t going anywhere.”

Gabe
“What choice do I have?”

Cain
“I wouldn’t mind catching up on old times, but it looks like we have to get going?”

Mags creates a teleport disc and disappears through it.

Cain
“Same old Mags. Well, shall we.”

Cain gestures for Gabe to come with him towards the car. Cain gets in the driver’s seat as Gabe gets in on the passenger side of the car.

Gabe
“You better not have hurt Katrina.”

Cain
“She and your friend are being well taken care of and they will stay that way as long as you cooperate.”
Gabe
“I guess I have no choice.”

Cain
“Well, I know how that witch’s powers work. So if you’re thinking that she will run back to you and bring the cavalry, you would be 100 percent right. By now she’s talking to Natas and they are gathering the troops as we speak. They will show up after we get to our destination. Then all the pieces will be on the board as they say.”

Gabe
“And you’re not worried?”

Cain
“Of Course not. I’m planning on it. Do you know how hard it’s been to get you and all of Natas’ little group of freaks in one place?”

Gabe
“I don’t even know why you’re after me. I don’t even know you.”

Cain
“But I know you.”

Gabe
“Bullshit. I would have remembered meeting you. I never arrested you.”
Cain
“Oh yes. I almost forgot that you are a police officer. To protect and to serve. That’s a joke from someone like you.”

Gabe
“Whatever. You don’t even know me.”

Cain
“Let me ask you a question. Would you trade your life for that of your woman and your friend?”

Gabe
“Yes.”

Cain
“You didn’t even hesitate. I didn’t expect that. Well, it looks like we are in agreement. So, it’s settled. We will finish our drive and when we get there you will let me slit your throat. When you are dead I will release your loved ones. There is no need for them to be harmed when we only require your death.”

Gabe
“How do I know you will keep your word after I’m dead?”

Cain
“You don’t.”
They continue to drive.

Cain
“What did Natas tell you?”

Gabe
“He told me everything about the Seven.”
Cain
“Everything?”

Cain says laughing at Gabe.

Gabe
“Yeah. Except he didn’t know why you were after me.”

Cain
“That’s just like Natas.”

Gabe
“And what does that mean?”



Cain
“Forget about it. Instead, let me tell you a story. You may find this hard to believe, but I was one of the first men ever created by the Seven. From my parents all other humans were created.
My parents were good people. They had no idea of who created them, nor that they were part of a science experiment.
I was the oldest of many children. We were simple, but we were happy. And that is something that is not tolerated by the Seven.
Only through struggle and death can the Seven collect our energy. At first our life spans were too long. So they would be shortened through genetic manipulation over time. As we reproduced, our children and their children’s children would die out before us.
When we didn’t die fast enough by natural causes, the Seven would cause strife within my family to guarantee violence, division, and murder.
Over time our history was passed down from generation to generation. A constant reminder of division and animosity. At first the stories were oral, but eventually they would become a written text. Beginning with primitive people etching on cave walls to the written word of scholars that desired power and order above all else.”
An inaccurate account filled with falsehoods and embellishments that would place our creators high above their subjects. This testament would survive for the sole purpose of dividing future generations.
The truth is we are all part of the same engineered species. However this book would continually emphasize only our differences. See, it’s easier to focus on those differences instead of our similarities. Over time that book would become many different stories, but always with one purpose. To keep us divided. And do you know what that book is?”

Gabe
“No.”

Cain
“The Bible.”

Gabe
“Get outta here.”

Cain
“Think about it. A book of fiction written by evil and ambitious men to keep us all subjugated. The Seven wanted to keep humanity always in conflict  through fear. However, mankind took it to a whole new level.
Throughout history there were always Gods that ruled over us. No matter the geography. No matter the era. There was always a God to fear. Always with a single purpose. To make us believe that we don’t have control over our own destiny and to always continue hating and killing each other.
Humanity would evolve into different colors and races. Pray to different Gods. We would never acknowledge what we all had in common because it’s easier to hate than to love.”
Eventually the descendants of my immediate family would create great civilizations, but those civilizations would always remain divided. Always at war. Always killing. New and different religions would spring up to keep the ignorant masses in check. Humanity, the eager and willing pawn who never challenged the Seven. Man would unwittingly help them to achieve these goals. They did this not because of fear, but because of greed.”

Gabe
“So what does that make you?”
Cain
“I am the first son of the first man born in this world. I am also the first man to take another’s life. I killed my brother in jealousy and anger and for that I was cursed by those gods and forced to wander the world forever. I was the first human to experience guilt and remorse. The first human to know the truth about the Seven. I am Cain, son of Adam, and brother of Abel.”

Gabe
“Hahaha Cain? Like… from the Bible? That Cain.”

Cain
“Is it so hard to believe? A few days ago you were unaware of the true world around you. After all you’ve witnessed, is it impossible to believe that there are secrets and wonders that you had no clue existed in this world?
Cain is the name I was born with, but I have been many famous men throughout time. I was once the man they called Enoch. I was Elisha. I was Melchizedek. I was many Kings of Jerusalem over many years. I have witnessed and participated in many historical events over the years and no one was ever the wiser. I was present at almost every major historical event for thousands of years. Yet you still don’t believe the words I speak to you?”

Gabe
“To be honest, I don’t know what to believe any more.”

Cain
“Fair enough. However, soon none of it will matter.”

Scene 4

Gabe sits there confused and motionless as they continue to drive. There is a fenced in industrial complex with the sign stating Three Mile Island No Trespassing.  They enter Three Mile Island, the abandoned nuclear site in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The man who tried to kill him in the alley and another large man with a Mohawk haircut open the gate as they drive in. They continue down a long road with abandoned buildings on both sides.  Standing there are three more men. One man is missing his arm from the elbow down. All seem to be waiting for them as they pull up and the two men at the gate join them. They exit the car.

Cain
“This will go so much easier if you don’t struggle.”

Gabe
“Show them to me. I want to see them.”

Cain
“I will. Follow me.”

As they exit the car the men surround Gabe and he is in the center.
Cain
“Now, will you keep your end of the bargain?”

Gabe
“Let me see Katrina first.”

Cain
“You don’t trust me? I’m so hurt.”

All of the Naga laugh.

Gabe
“Where is she?”

Cain
“Remember when I told you I was the world’s first murderer?”

Gabe
“Yeah.”

Cain
“Well, I’m also its first liar.”

The men push Gabe to his knees.

Cain
“Judas The honor is yours.”

Judas
“With pleasure.”

Gabe is on his knees and the man who tried to assassinate him walks up and forms a two handed battle ax in his hands seemingly out of thin air.

Judas
“I have waited many  years for this moment.”

Gabe closes his eyes. Judas raises the ax above Gabe’s head and swings down. The ax strikes the back of Gabe’s neck and the metal axe shatters into pieces.

Judas
“Impossible.”

Cain
“When they saved him she interrupted the resurrection. Kill him.”
Right then one of the men. The larger brute with a Mohawk runs up and kicks Gabe, sending him into the wall of one of the abandoned buildings. The wall crumbles and Gabe begins to rise up from the rubble. The man then runs up and pummels down on Gabe with two closed fists.

Longinus
“I am Longinus and you will die by my hands on this day.”

Gabe falls back to the ground as Longinus continues to beat up on him.
Suddenly Mags teleport discs appear everywhere and figures start to appear from them.
Mags, Craze, Bruno, Wolfgang,  and Adam all stand in front of the Naga.
As Longinus turns around to see the Monsters, Mags waves her hand and Gabe is teleported to where they are standing.

Gabe
“About time you showed up.”

Mags
“Are you hurt?”

Gabe
“No. Not really.”

Mags
“Good, because now we fight.”

Gabe
“What do you think I was doing?”

Wolfgang
“Looks like you were getting your ass kicked.”

Cain
“You bitch. You ruined everything.”

Mags
“I thought I was your baby.”

Gabe
“What does he mean?”

Cain
“He isn’t at full power. We still have a chance. I don’t care who you fight, but he and the witch are mine.”

Craze
“Madam, who shall be my opponent?”
Mags
“Take Longinus. The rest of you just pick someone.”

Right then Judas charges at the Monsters but Wolfgang intercepts him and sends Judas flying. Wolfgang follows after Judas. Two of the men run at each other and combine into one giant being with 4 arms. After they combine they punch Adam. Longinus runs towards Wolfgang but Craze intercepts Longinus with a kick. One of the men flies into the air. Bruno ignites into flames and goes after him. Leaving Cain to fight Mags and Gabe.

Gabe
“Two against one. This should be easy.”

Cain laughs and starts to make clones of himself. Hundreds of them.

Gabe
“Fuck me.”

Cain’s clones charge at Mags and Gabe while everyone else is occupied with their own opponent.

Abel is there. Standing next to the original version of Cain.  


Cain
“I know that you are here brother.  I may not be able to see you, but I can sense you. After all of these years,  it will finally come to an end. For what it’s worth I am sorry.”

Cain joins in the fight.
